I Care: Comfortea
Why Waste Time on Tea?
Isn't it always time for tea? In my world, tea time is you and me time, and how could that ever be overdone?
I live for the connections that tea drinking brings, so I will often reference tea. Comfortea is what I'm serving and you'll feel the joy of my adventures in my writing. Take a peek here to learn more about who I am and why you'll want to be one of my loyal readers.
My published articles have garnered serious loyalty. Need a break in your day? Get your cup of tea, sit down, and envelope yourself in my ramblings - travel with me wherever I go and whenever I find that magical cup of tea.
Remember, a hug from the inside is only a cup away.

Where my words come from
I grew up on hot chocolate. In fact, I didn't start drinking tea until my early 30's and coffee never caught on for me. My tea-drinking days started out of necessity - I got a job marketing tea for a struggling tearoom. After finishing my bachelors in communication, I worked in educational television where I met an amazing group of people. It was one of those people who took the chance to hire me to transform the profile of their start-up business, and their tea, in our city. This tearoom runs happily along now, without my involvement, but it was 4 years of very intense merchandising and communication planning that made this room part of the fabric of this city.
I have been publishing since before the turn of the century. I really enjoy creating art and fine art photography, alongside designing functional art books. I am also a facilitator of visioning and planning and have worked with small businesses, developing communities, and individuals who are ready to forge ahead to actualize their life-long dreams. A pot of tea seems to accompany me as I work. I can't think of a meeting where I didn't share a pot of tea.
But pots of tea seem to follow me everywhere - or is it that I follow them? From the coast of Kenya to Oxford Street in London, to the beaches of Oregon and the streets of Brussels, I have slurped pots of tea and devoured sizzling crumpets, devon cream and jam slathered scones, Belgian waffles, and crispy, buttery toast. And, no matter where I am or what time of year, I seek out that tea if it hasn't already found me. Speaking of which, it's time for tea - I have to go now. Check back in as I regale you with my wild and woolly adventures of tea, travel, and life.

What is tea without a teapot? Or without a cup? A great big mess.
